PRIMAVERA 50 OFFICINA 8
With the new "Officina 8" special edition, Vespa opens a chapter deeply rooted in its brand’s history. The Vespa Primavera appears in an exclusive design that visually and conceptually recalls the place where it all began: the legendary "Officina 8" at Piaggio’s Pontedera factory.
After World War II, this workshop became the core of Piaggio’s technical innovation. Engineers, mechanics, and test riders worked here on the first prototypes, world-record-setting Vespas, racing models, and trend-defining designs. At the time, employees with access to this most secret and advanced department wore a blue badge marked “Piaggio 8”. Today, Officina 8 is still considered the birthplace of many milestones in Vespa’s history.
This new edition, named after that very workshop, pays tribute to it.
It features the exclusive Blu Officina 8 color — a matte, industrial blue with metallic shimmer. Brass-colored rims, satin-finished metal elements, and handcrafted details such as dual-upholstered seats, heat-sealed stitching, and brass rivets evoke the workshop aesthetics of the 1940s and ’50s.
